    THE PROCLAIMERS

Craig and Charlie Reid return in 2026 with a highly anticipated 13th studio album and a string of major live dates across the UK.

Following the phenomenal success of their 14-month “Dentures Out” world tour, which concluded in August 2023, The Proclaimers are back!

The pair have announced their return to the live stage, promising an unforgettable series of shows for fans across the UK. Known for their unique blend of pop, folk, punk, and new wave, Craig and Charlie will perform all their classic hits, including “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”, “Sunshine on Leith”, and “Letter from America”, alongside tracks from their forthcoming album.

With a legacy spanning over three decades and inspiring a hit musical and film, The Proclaimers’ live shows are celebrated for their energy, passion, and big-hearted, uncynical songs.

On BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island discs, David Tennant describes his first track by The Proclaimers – “I could have chosen any and every track from this band, probably my favourite band of all time. They write the most spectacular songs, big hearted, uncynical passionate songs.”

Earlier this year after Coldplay had performed Sunshine on Leith on the BBC’s The Piano Room, Chris Martin said “There is a whole other world of music behind that song that I’ve just been discovering, and they’re a wonderful, wonderful band. Now we live in the age of coolness doesn’t mean anything, just quality and soul. The Proclaimers make more sense than ever.”

    Support Act: Amelia Coburn

Amelia Coburn has a knack for making the unusual sound timeless. Her honest, occasionally hilarious and quintessentially north-eastern persona disarms and beguiles in equal measure.

Drawing inspiration from gothic literature and the shadowy allure of film noir, there is a darkness at the heart of many of her songs, populated by vivid characters and nocturnal creatures that inhabit the liminal space “between the moon and the milkman”.

Her Bill Ryder-Jones produced debut album gained a cult following, with national radio play across BBC Radios 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Hailed as “one to watch in 2025” by Louder Than War and Drowned In Sound, Amelia hit the ground running with spellbinding sets at SXSW in Texas and a feature on Paul Weller’s latest album ‘Find El Dorado’.

Audiences continued to grow thanks to enchanting support slots with the likes of The Levellers, Rianne Downey, Hamish Hawk, Stornoway, Rumer and Katherine Priddy – not to mention her own sold-out Royal Albert Hall ‘Elgar Room’ show and mesmerising sets at some of the UK’s best loved boutique festivals.

Supported by PRS Foundation’s Open Fund and inspired by the feminist works of writers like Angela Carter and Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Coburn’s latest single ‘Something Wild’ continues to solidify her burgeoning reputation.

    Previous praise:

“A great voice with great tunes” – Paul Weller in Mojo Magazine

“In a cynical, meta-obsessed world, her music is wide-eyed, guileless and fresh” – The Arts Desk (Album of the Year)

“A world full of darkness and light and soundtracked by magic and melancholy” – Louder Than War

“Songs that feel like centuries old fairy tales” – Shindig! Magazine

“What a voice! Really, really lovely” – Jo Whiley, BBC Radio 2

“The gloriously catchy tracks… at turns baroque, jazzy and oddly ornate” – Clash

“Her observational songwriting glistens with theatricality, as she unravels narratives over considered layers of acoustic instrumentation” – The Line of Best Fit

“There’s a feel of the Beatlesque pop of ‘Eleanor Rigby‘, or Joni in her ‘Ladies of the Canyon‘ moments – ‘Sandra‘ exemplifies that feel although Coburn is a smaller – and yet so intimately intriguing – voice” – Americana UK
