Unpack your camping chairs and get ready for a weekend to remember with a new Outdoor Cinema Experience at the Rhyl Events Arena this August Bank holiday.

A weekend jam-packed with iconic films is being brought to the community for FREE at Rhyl Events Arena on Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th  August 2025, hosted by Denbighshire Leisure Ltd (DLL) in collaboration with Rhyl Town Council.

This fun-filled event will showcase five fantastic films for all ages to enjoy, including Mamma Mia, Moana 2, The Greatest Showman, Dirty Dancing, and the iconic musical Grease.

Bring along your camping chairs, stools, cushions and blankets, gather your friends and family, and get ready to sing, laugh and dance along under the stars in the heart of Rhyl.

The community are encouraged to secure their free tickets as early as possible by calling the Rhyl Pavilion Theatre Box Office on 01745 330000, open Monday to Friday from 10am to 4.30pm. The event is completely free to attend, but tickets are required to manage numbers. Tickets are limited to 4 per household and guests may book for up to 2 films across the weekend, to give as many residents as possible the chance to enjoy this unforgettable experience.
